Magic Gift Box
A gift box that lights up and plays a melody the moment it's opened. Build it yourself with an ESP32-C3, a handful of parts and a step-by-step guide.

How it works
A little show when the lid opens

It waits in the dark
A light sensor (LDR) inside the box keeps reading the light level while the lid is closed.

The lid opens
Light floods in, the ESP32-C3 notices the change and starts the sequence.

Light and music
An RGB LED cycles through soft colors while a buzzer plays the melody. Close the lid and it's ready to go again.
What you'll build with
- ESP32-C3 board
- RGB LED and three 220 Ω resistors
- Passive buzzer
- Light sensor (LDR) and a 10 kΩ resistor
- USB cable or power bank
- A gift box, decorative paper and tape
